We just bought a table from them and couldn't be happier. We got to choose our slabs and were included in the design and construction process. Working with Vilppu and Ryan was a wonderful experience from the time we met at their workshop to picking up our gorgeous completed coffee table. Giving us a tour of the shop, explaining the process, and helping us select the type of wood we wanted to use, both gentlemen answered our questions, told us the total cost, and when the project would be completed. We were updated throughout the process with texts and photos to ensure we liked what was being built for us. The completed table is the centerpiece of our family living space. While the coffee table is beautiful, it is also sturdy and protected from any spills/stains. We look forward to working with Tree to Table again to build a dining table.

I used Tree to Table for two pieces (so far!). They found and prepared a counter for an accessible sink, and they took an old door from my home, added some pieces, and installed it as a laundry counter. For both projects, Vilppu was creative, responsive, and budget-conscious, and the finished products are beautiful and functional. I will call them every time for custom wood projects.

I came to Tree to Table with a very unique request to convert my parent’s kitchen table into a kitchen island. They truly made a masterpiece out of a retired table and accompanying benches. My parents now refer to their new island as the “epicenter of their home”. The team was cooperative, innovative, and communicative throughout the whole process. I am over the moon to find these guys--they took an old, inexpensive sofa table and turned it into an heirloom piece! They suggested using the old black metal base (which I loved for both looks and sustainability) and adding the rough edge walnut top and it is stunning. Communication was easy and proactive, service was over expectations, and they are just super-nice and creative guys. I will work with them again soon.

Custom and flawless. I can’t believe these guys are right here in Oxford. I needed a custom wood island top and was talking to a company out of state before learning about Vilppu and Ryan. They made me a gorgeous island top; it is smooth as glass and a perfect fit. If you walk in to Lowe’s or Home Depot they will tell you they have 2 sizes and nothing adjustable. With Tree to Table I got to pick the slab and find out where the tree originally stood (because everyone needs a good story, right?). Could not be happier!
